Back in September 2012 I had a lovely long weekend in Venice with my old pal Zoe. I didn't blog about it because I didn't have the pictures and who wants to read a blog about Venice with no pictures? Naebody.
So here are some of the photo highlights. It was just as gorgeous as everyone tells you it will be. Great trip.
Venice is beautiful, atmospheric. I would like to go back again, it's amazeing that those same buildings and views have been there for centuries, people have gazed at them, your seeing them, and it seems timeless! Anyway that's what I think, xx
Originally from Derby (UK) I've been knitting obsessively for the past seven years, since I first fell ill with 'fibromyalgia'. The fibro has since been found to be a symptom of my having Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Type III (AKA, Hypermobility Syndrome). I currently live in Paisley, West Scotland.
My other interests are quilting, vintage fabrics, sewing, writing, music, comedy, food, real-ale, politics & current affairs, gardening, travelling and poetry. Often I am too tired or sore to do anything, even think!
However, I strongly believe that craft can be a force for good in the world hence PURLPOWER!
P.S. If you leave me a question in a comments section I will usually reply in the same comments section

Before our daughter fell ill, we'd been planning a family trip to Venice - but I can't think of a less wheelchair-accessible place! Someday, though...
