We cooked roast pheasant, roast chicken, roast potatoes with rosemary and garlic, roast parsnips with honey, sage and apple stuffing, steamed carrots with cumin, stir-fried brussels with chestnut slices, slow cooked red cabbage, pheasant gravy. Our friends brought cranberry sauce and Christmas pud. (And on Boxing Day I did bugger all)*

My sibling secret santa present: Nigellisima!

Christmas table.
*Late on Boxing Day I started to feel unusually bad, a cold, just a cold, but a bad cold with some vomiting and I have no energy or immunity to fight off any extra problems so these things seem to hit me hard. A week later I am feeling a little better but not over it. Grrrr. Annoying.

Hi!
I love your blog, and have read it for the past however many years I've been back to knitting. I haven't posted before, so just want to say 'Happy New Year!', and hope that bug shifts pronto.
