A multi-millions lottery winner to buy the Russell Institute in Paisley and turn it into a haven for crafts teaching and practice. Sadly, I think this beautiful art deco building will be empty for some time now that it has gone on the market.
You can read about the history of the building here.

Maybe you should add it to history pin? (http://www.historypin.com/)
Originally from Derby (UK) I've been knitting obsessively for the past seven years, since I first fell ill with 'fibromyalgia'. The fibro has since been found to be a symptom of my having Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Type III (AKA, Hypermobility Syndrome). I currently live in Paisley, West Scotland.
My other interests are quilting, vintage fabrics, sewing, writing, music, comedy, food, real-ale, politics & current affairs, gardening, travelling and poetry. Often I am too tired or sore to do anything, even think!
However, I strongly believe that craft can be a force for good in the world hence PURLPOWER!
P.S. If you leave me a question in a comments section I will usually reply in the same comments section
